The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combos I've tried. Its base station has a large water tank and dustbin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to tangle hair than single bristles.
Its mopping efficiency is exceptional and its AI mapping excels at eliminating obstacles. It also has the ability to pause its cleaning work and resume where it left off.

In terms of navigation in terms of navigation, the M12 makes use of LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. The sensors do a great job of detecting larger objects like HVAC vents and furniture. However, they may struggle with smaller objects like cables and small rags which can cause the robot to miss areas.

The X40 Ultra has a simple, intuitive app with various features. It is simple to use and set up. The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to the internal dToF system. It can keep a low-profile while still providing top-notch detection of objects. It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoids steps, and also raises its mop automatically when it drives over rugs and carpets with a short pile. However, it did struggle a little when encountering longer-pile carpets as well as large, thick messes of dried-on debris.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box and needs only an initial mapping session to get it used to your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as necessary. You can also design virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't want the robot to touch certain items.
The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great option for homes with both types of flooring but its dependence on a Eufy-branded cleaning product (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that allow you to add your own solutions.
